Gee, we have the sudden urge to head over to the nearest mall and shop and shop until we collapse into a giant shoebox. Wherever could this compulsion be coming from?

What’s that, you say? You say Kendall Jenner is showing up on billboards all over Los Angeles starting August 1, posing in a giant shoebox to promote Fashion’s Night Out at the local Beverly Center?

Well, that’s one explanation, we guess.

The economy may be crappy, but this season’s fashions are some of the best yet—at least, in the color department—and Kendall’s new ad campaign embodies that trend beautifully in a tangerine Georges Chakra gown.

We especially love the unexpected sophistication brought on by the Giuseppe Zanotti platform sandals—the vision, we understand, of stylist George Blodwell.

This year, Fashion’s Night Out falls on Sept. 6, and if we can find those shoes on sale, we’re definitely there.

NEWS/Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Date Night in Miami!

Unlike their recent rollercoaster outing, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West kept this particular date night under wraps.

The loquacious rapper was MIA as the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posed on the red carpet in a green and white Versace dress at the Midori Beachside Bash at the Delano Hotel in Miami Friday night.

So where in the world was Kanye?

Inside—sipping Midori cocktails and later cuddling with Kim when she wasn’t busy hosting the event (we can’t blame a guy for ducking a red carpet once in while).

Jonathan Cheban and Larsa Pippen were also at the fete to support Kardashian, as wasDancing with the Stars hoofer Karina Smirnoff(who took a break from battling some tasty waves).

“What a fun night in Miami! I’ve missed it here! LIV here we come! Were not stopping! Let’s go @DaveGrutman @JonathanCheban!!!,” Kim tweeted Friday. 

 

NEWS/Roller Coaster Romance! Kim Kardashian Cries, Kanye West Cracks Up on Six Flags Ride

Like any couple, Kimye is bound to have their fair share of ups and downs.

And on Tuesday, their relationship was on a roller coaster—really­—when Kim Kardashian andKanye West visited Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif.

Kim tweeted a hilarious picture of the power duo (joined by little sis Kendall Jenner) midride. While her rapper beau was all smiles and hands-free, Kim desperately clutched her security harness and screamed for dear life.

“Magic Mountain fun today!!!” the E! star wrote. “Kendall screaming, Kanye laughing & me crying!”

She also posted a close-up of her “ugly infamous cry face for the records.”

When Kendall called out her big sis for being a “cry babyyy” on Twitter, Kim fired back that the 16-year-old model “cried too on one ride!!”

Kendall’s response? “no I had something In my eyeeee! duh”

But don’t feel bad, Kimmie. That looked like a wild ride!

NEWS/Pink vs. Kim Kardashian in High-Waisted Houndstooth—Who Do You Like Best?

It’s always fun to watch celebrities do battle with high-waisted pants.

Despite their armies of scissor-wielding tailors and stylists, they almost always end up dying on the end of that vicious fashion bayonet, right next to some clownwho thought she could rock a purple jumpsuit.

But every once in a while, a couple of contenders come along—scrappers ready to put those pants in their place—and we have found those people.

Ladies and gentlemen, all hail Pink and Kim Kardashian, whose tailors and stylists are not messing around.

We cannot get enough of the singer formerly known as Alecia Moore, who showed up for a recent Today show appearance wearing a perfectly fitted white button-down with a black bra sexily peeking out—along with those high waisted houndstooth pants, of course.

Her trademark cotton-candy-hued hair, styled in a vaguely retro swish of curls, completed the look.

Kim, meanwhile, busted out in her own business-casual ensemble for a day in New York with friend Jonathan Cheban. Like Pink, she rocked a white button down though a black bra, if there was one, was kept under wraps. Check out the pop of red flashing from those black platform Louboutins. Gotta love it. (And gotta have it. That is if we had, oh, $800 to $1,000 bucks handy for another pair of shoes.)

NEWS/Kourtney Kardashian Baby Name: Mila Was Never a Serious Option

No one’s saying that Mila isn’t a beautiful name, but when it came to Kourtney Kardashian‘s baby girl, it just wasn’t the right one.

Recent reports may claim that Kourt was originally planning to name her daughter Mila instead of Penelope Scotland Disick, but E! News has learned that wasn’t the case at all.

That doesn’t mean Mila didn’t come up in conversation though.

Mila was actually a name suggested to Kourtney by Kim Kardashian on the “Momager Dearest” episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (aired May 27). Kim said she thought Mason and Mila would be a cute boy/girl combo, which we totally agree, but her sister didn’t.

A family source tells that, “Kourtney never really seriously considered it.”

As we previously reported, Kourtney and Scott Disick chose the name Penelope simply because they both thought it was cute, and also took a liking to momager Kris Jenner‘s middle-name suggestion, Scotland.

Sorry, no significant backstory here.

 

NEWS/Kim Kardashian’s Fur Hat: Gotta Have It or Make It Stop?

It may be the middle of July, but that’s not stopping Kim Kardashian from modeling a favorite fur hat for fans.

In a move that’s sure to rile her frenemies at PETA, Kardashian sported the fuzzy wonder in an impromptu shoot with a friend.

So, who was in on the last-minute glam cam?

Kim’s buddy and makeup artist Joyce Bonelli, who also threw on the hat for a few frames herself.

It’s said that BF Kayne West has been styling Kim a lot lately, but no word on whether he approved of the polar chapeau, or if he was on hand for the photos.

What we do wonder is this: What on Earth will Kim wear on her head in December!?

NEWS/Aunties Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie Take Mason to the Circus

While Kourtney Kardashian rests up at home with new daughter Penelope, her other little one, 2-year-old sonMason, is taking a walk on the wild side!

 

The Kardashian-Jenner clan, including Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie, took Mason to the circus last night where the group received nothing but VIP treatment…

 

Mason and fam hit L.A.’s Staples Center for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s new Dragons show.

 

Pre-performance, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars got an up close look at the show’s exotic animal stars, including giant elephants and tigers. “Mason was very excited about the animals,” a source tells us. “He loved it.”

 

And Mason wasn’t the only one inspired by the colorful creatures. “I have a weird obsession with tigers,” Kendall tweeted.

 

The exclusive behind-the-scenes adventures didn’t end there. During intermission, the gang enjoyed a meet and greet with Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson and tiger trainer Alexander Lacey, along with—what else?—some clowns.

 

Mason, dressed stylishly as always in a grey T-shirt, green skinny jeans and brown loafers, was all smiles while playing with his very own stuffed dragon.
